PET-CARE SERVICE TERMS

Booking

A request is not a confirmed appointment. We confirm your care plan, dates, and final price in writing. Your booking is confirmed only after approval and any required payment. Please wait for our approval before paying.

Where and what we can care for

Fifth & Flamingo provides non-veterinary animal care in Foley and Orange Beach, Alabama. Service is limited to these two cities. Care at homes, vacation rentals, condos and RV sites requires safe access and any necessary property permission. We care for well-socialized, non-venomous household animals that can be handled safely. We may decline or stop a service if information is incomplete, an undisclosed safety risk arises, access is unsafe, or care falls outside our training, insurance, or agreed scope.

Your part

Give us accurate, current details about your pet’s health, behavior, medications, mobility, veterinarian, emergency contact, schedule, and property access. Provide safe access, working locks, needed supplies, and a reasonably safe setting. Tell us promptly when something changes.

Price and payment

Prices are in U.S. dollars. We confirm the final price and any holiday or custom-care charges in writing before payment.

Changes and cancellations

Unless your written booking approval says otherwise:

• At least 48 hours before the first affected visit: refund or service credit.

• Less than 48 hours: we may charge 50% of the affected service.

• Less than 24 hours, same-day cancellation, or a visit blocked by unavailable access: the affected service may be nonrefundable.

• If we cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative: refund of the affected service.

Any processing fee Stripe does not return may be deducted from a cash refund. Different terms for holiday or extended bookings will be disclosed before payment.

Medication and emergencies

Routine medications as instructed may be provided with complete written directions. Injections, complex medication, post-surgical care, and unusually involved care require discussion and written acceptance before booking. Visits do not replace veterinary treatment. If urgent veterinary care appears necessary and we cannot reach you, we may contact your veterinarian or seek reasonably necessary emergency care. You remain responsible for veterinary, transportation, and other third-party costs.

Visit safety

We may shorten or adjust a walk or visit for severe weather, unsafe temperatures, traffic, illness, or another immediate safety concern, and will communicate significant changes when reasonably possible.
